MYSORE: A new initiative titled “Spot the talent” was recently launched by Software Paradigms Infotech Pvt. Ltd. to expose high school students to the world of information technology.

Overview

This fun and educative programme allowed the students to get an overview of software development and gave them an opportunity to experience IT from close quarters, according to a press release from the company.

Seven schools, both State Board and CBSE, were invited to be part of the programme.

Students of class 9 of all the shortlisted schools were given an aptitude test in order to select 15 students for the programme.

The children of Ideal Jawa Rotary High School, Mahabodhi School, Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan, V.V.S Pandit Nehru High School, Gnanaganga Vidya Peetha, Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala and Mahajana High School participated in the programme.

The training was conducted at SPI City Mysore by in-house faculty.

During the programme, the students got an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and work on challenging assignments.
