Members of the Karnataka State High School Assistant Masters’ Association have dropped their decision to boycott the SSLC answer script evaluation.
The association had earlier planned to boycott the evaluation demanding that the government set right wage disparity of high school assistant teachers.
In a release, association president Manjunatha H.K. welcomed the decision of government to increase remuneration for teachers who take part in the SSLC evaluation.
“The association felt that boycotting the evaluation work does not yield any result as government cannot take any decision in view of election code of conduct,” he added.
