BSR Congress president B. Sriramulu has accused mine owner Tapal Ganesh, petitioner G. Venkateshmurthy — who filed a private complaint in court against the former charging him of land grabbing — and 25 others, of trespassing his property.

In a complaint to Superintendent of Police, Mr. Sriramulu said the property in Survey No 597 B2, A1, A3/D, spread over 27.25 acres, was legally held by him.

‘Allegations baseless’

Mr. Ganesh, Mr. Venkateshmurthy and others had trespassed and had made baseless allegations against him in the Press to tarnish his image.

He said he was the absolute owner of the property and sought legal action against all trespassers.

Mr. Venkateshmurthy had filed a private complaint in court accusing Mr. Sriramulu of acquiring land belonging to them and the matter has been referred to the Lokayukta police in Bellary.
