Konkan Railway says trains will clear seasonal rush
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited has announced AC Superfast special trains on H. Nizamuddin–Kochuveli, Ahmedabad-Mangalore Junction and New Delhi–Vasco routes during winter season to clear rush of passengers.
A KRCL press release said Train no. 04094 will leave from H. Nizamuddin on every Tuesday/Wednesday from December 3 to January 29 (total 18 trips) at 9.35 p.m. and reach Kochuveli at 8.30 p.m. on the third day.
Train no. 04093 will leave from Kochuveli on Friday/Saturday from December 6 to January 31 (18 trips) at 11 p.m. and reach the destination at 6.05 a.m. on the fourth day.
The train with 18 coaches will halt at Mathura, Kota, Ratlam, Dahod, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Thokur, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam and Kollam.
Train no. 09420 will leave from Ahmedabad on every Wednesday from December 04 to January 25 (4 trips) at 4.35 p.m. and reach Mangalore Junction at 7.05 p.m. the next day. Train no. 09419 will leave Mangalore Junction on Thursdays between December 5 and January 26 (4 trips) at 10.30 p.m. and reach Ahmedabad at 11.15 p.m. the next day. The train with 15 coaches will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangmeshwar, Ratnagiri, Kankawali, Kudal, Pernem, Thivim , Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi, Suratkal and Thokur stations.
The New Delhi–Vasco–New Delhi Superfast (AC) Express (04014 / 04013) will make nine round trips between December 7 (first day of first trip from New Delhi) and January 2 (first day of last trip from Vasco).
The timings of train no. 56641 Madgaon–Mangalore Passenger have been revised with effect from Sunday (December 1). The train will leave from Madgaon Station at 1.50 p.m. instead of 12 noon and reach Mangalore Central at 8.50 p.m. the same day.
