Madikeri: Close on the heels of capturing a 13-foot King Cobra at Karada in Kodagu, "snake" Satish, caught an 11-foot King Cobra at Galibeedu near here on Monday.

The cobra, which had entered a hollow pipe, was struggling to come out of it when some villagers noticed it in the morning. They informed Satish in Gonicoppa.

He and Manju Kalaiah of the Coorg Adventure Club rushed to the spot and rescued the snake. The male snake had, however, suffered a slight injury just below its neck.

It was taken to Gonicoppa and treated. The snake is safe, Satish is stated to have said.
