Regional Commissioner Rajneesh Goel inaugurated Everonn Skill Development Ltd.'s Skill Development and Training Centre on the outskirts of Gulbarga on Tuesday, which will provide new avenues of training and placement for unemployed youth from underprivileged sections of society.

Speaking after inaugurating the training programmes for 60 unemployed youth in sewing machine operation and another 60 as customer services associates in the retail industry, Dr. Goel said the establishment of the Skill Development and Training Centre was a golden opportunity for unemployed youth, particularly women from BPL and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe families to get short-duration training with assured immediate placement.

Dr. Goel said that Everonn had entered into tie-ups with reputed companies for placement of trained hands with an assured salary along with subsidised food and free accommodation. “Unemployed youth in the region should take full advantage of the facility,” he urged. He appreciated Chairman of the Samata Lok Shikshan Trust B.R. Patil's gesture of providing space for starting the training facility in a shed on the outskirts of the city .
