Karnataka Human Rights Commission (SHRC) S.R. Nayak will be visiting Udupi district from January 7 to 9.

According to a press release, Mr. Nayak will reach Karkala in Udupi district at 10.30 a.m. on January 7. He will then receive petitions on human rights violation from the general public at the Karkala Tahsildar's Office at 11 a.m. He will then hold a meeting with taluk-level officers there.

He will participate as chief guest at the 41st Rotary Conference in Udupi at noon on January 8. He will leave Udupi for Mangalore at 4 p.m. on January 9, the release added.
