The two-day Social Sciences exhibition organised by students of 6th to 9th standards of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3 in the city attracted a good number of students from different schools.

The exhibition was organised on the school's premises at Chavatgalli. The objective behind it was to create awareness about the importance of India's rich cultural heritage and historical monuments, and the need to protect them.

Drawing competitions were also held and prizes presented to winners.

Vice-principal of the school R. Kulkarni said here on Thursday that such events helped explore the creative talent of students.

It would also make them aware of the importance of the history and culture of the land, he added.
