Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar on Thursday denied in the Legislative Assembly that there were any irregularities in the approval of tender amounting to Rs. 2,600 crore in KPTCL as alleged by the Janata Dal (Secular) leader H.D. Revanna on Wednesday. Replying to the debate on the budget estimates, he said that only two projects for two works of Rs. 24 crore and Rs. 40 crore with regard to supplying Toyota conductors for 66 kV transmission line at Byadarahalli and laying distribution line in Raichur district were approved.
