Student leader and an office-bearer of the Students' Federation of India (SFI) Jeevanraj Kuttar on Wednesday accused the Government of encouraging commercialisation of education.

Speaking at the fifth taluk-level convention of SFI here, Mr Jeevanraj said that successive governments had failed to ensure that there were equal opportunities for all in education. Satish Kulkarni, writer, called on the SFI members to help poor students get quality education.
