CHIKMAGALUR: Y.S.V. Datta, MLC and spokesperson of the Janata Dal (S), said on Tuesday that the three-day session on agriculture and rural development initiated by Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa did not serve any purpose.

Addressing presspersons here, Mr. Datta said that Revenue Minister Karunakar Reddy, Rural Development Minister Shoba Karandlaje and Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Commission Shankaramurthy did not participate in the discussions.
