Jnanarjan 2011, a one-day seminar on ‘Emerging trends in commerce, business and economy', will be held at the Tourism Development Institute, Mahajana Postgraduate Centre, on KRS Road here, on Monday.

The seminar is being organised by the Department of Studies in Commerce, Pooja Bhagvat Memorial Mahajana Postgraduate Centre.

B.R. Ananthan, Vice-Chancellor of Rani Chennamma University, will inaugurate the seminar at 10.30 a.m. Francis Cherunilam, head of the School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, will deliver the keynote address.

The valedictory function will be held on the same day at 4.30 p.m. B. Mahadevappa, associate professor, Department of Studies in Commerce, University of Mysore, will deliver the valedictory address.

There will be three technical sessions on the topic. Resource persons in commerce and business management will speak.
