The Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) will organise a seminar on food processing and an interaction with entrepreneurs of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts at Shubodaya Hall of Westind Country Club in Manipal on November 30.
Chairman of the sub-committee for zonal coordination Santhosh D' Souza told presspersons here on Friday that Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts had immense potential in food processing, which had to be tapped. The seminar was open not just for entrepreneurs but also general public.
Many people owned coconut and other plantations. They too could attend the seminar. Resource persons from the Union Ministry of Food Processing, Coconut Development Board, and CFTRI, Mysore, would take part in the seminar, he said.
