Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy will conduct a seminar on ‘Alzheimer’s disease – a journey of caring’ on its premises on Saturday, according to a release. T.S. Sathyanarayana Rao, professor and head, department of psychiatry, JSS Medical College and Hospital, will be the resource person and deliver a talk on the management of Alzheimer’s disease and give tips to caretakers. The organisers said the disease was the most common form of dementia and a majority of the patients were found to be in the developing regions of the world, accounting for nearly 60 per cent of the total cases.
