Bidar: Members of Morarji Desai and Kittur Chennamma Residential School Principals' and Teachers' Association took out a rally here on Tuesday demanding regularisation of services and better working condition.

The protesters marched from Ambedkar Circle to the Deputy Commissioner's office raising slogans against the Government. They staged a demonstration in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office and submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor to the district authorities.

The memorandum said the Government had outsourced their services and they did not have job security. They were also not getting benefits provided to State Government employees. The Government was changing the outsourcing agencies on a yearly basis and this was affecting their morale, they said.

The agency had decided to discontinue their services and this would mean that around 150 experienced principal and teachers would lose their job, association secretary Ramesh Uppar said in the memorandum.
