The Udupi Nirmithi Kendra would be organising a two-week sculpture camp in Manipal from December 10. Arun Kumar, Project Director of Nirmithi Kendra, said that as many as 14 sculptors from the State, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, and Bastar in Chattisgarh, would be participating in the sculpture camp. Traditional, contemporary and tribal sculptors would be making sculptures of wood, stone, terracotta, brass and iron.

The 14 sculptors are: Balmukund Nag, Sundar Singh Besra, Sonadhar Vishwakarma, Nandalal Vishwakarma, Bahadur Singh Rana, Vikram Singh Rana, Gotru Ram Mandavi, Ravi Shah, Anandh Prabhu Desai, Uday Vir Singh, Bhuvanesh Gowda, Jayaram Mandavi, Ratnakar Acharya and Suralu Venkataramana Bhat. The camp would be open for public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
