Udupi: Gurukula Public School will be organising a national-level art camp, Art Impact 2010, at Vakwady, near Koteshwar, in Udupi district from March 14 to April 4.

The camp has been divided into two parts. The tribal art camp will be inaugurated on March 14 by the former Chairman of the Karnataka Shilpa Kala Academy Shamaraya Acharya.

The contemporary painters' camp will be inaugurated on March 29 by Managing Editor of the Kannada weekly Taranga Sandhya S. Pai. Artisans from Bastar in Chhattisgarh, Gond artists from Madhya Pradesh, Madhubani artists from Bihar, Warli artists from Maharashtra and contemporary painters will be participating in the camp.

It aims at presenting traditional arts before the people in a new way.
