The former Minister P.G.R. Sindhia has said the move of the Karnataka State Public Service Commission (KPSC) to receive applications only online for the posts of assistants and junior assistants in various government departments, has affected thousands of candidates from rural areas. In a release, Mr. Sindhia noted that not everyone was tech-savvy and Internet facility was not available everywhere. The KPSC should make available printed application forms at selected bank branches on payment of the prescribed examination fee, he demanded in the press release. — Staff Reporter
