Seven destitute persons picked up from different places in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts, and treated at the Vishwasada Mane Rehabilitation Centre for Mentally Challenged and Homeless Persons at Shankarpura village near Udupi, will reunite with their families soon.

Pastor Sunil John D’Souza, president of Divine Generation Ministries Bethel Church Trust, which runs centre, told presspersons here on Thursday that of the seven persons, three were from Andhra Pradesh and four from Tamil Nadu. The staff of the centre would take these seven persons from Shankarpura on April 1 to their respective towns and re-unite them with their families.
