Members of the Arrack Retailers Association, who have been unemployed because of the ban on sale of arrack, have demanded reservation in appointments in the Central University of Karnataka at Kadaganchi village in Gulbarga district and at the Medical College Complex of the ESIC in the city. The association members, who staged a demonstration on Wednesday, said the government should provide at least 25 per cent reservation to them.
