Reacting to former BJP State president K.S. Eshwarappa’s remarks on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G. Parameshwar has said that Mr. Eshwarappa’s remarks revealed his “culture”. Speaking to presspersons in Hubli on Tuesday, the KPCC president said such remarks were unbecoming of a former Deputy Chief Minister.

To a query, he said Narendra Modi’s tour in Karnataka would not make much impact on the State electorate.

Our Special Correspondent from Belgaum writes:

Former BJP State president K.S. Eshwarappa’s remarks against prominent Congress leaders were condemned by Water Resources Minister M.B. Patil.

He said it was shocking that such remarks should come from someone who headed a party which boasted of strong cultural and moral values.
