BIDAR: Members of Karnataka People’s Alliance for Land and Livelihood Rights have urged Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to regularise land being cultivated by landless poor and Dalits by constituting land grant committees. Members of the organisation took out a rally in the city on Friday and submitted a memorandum to district officials. In the memorandum, they urged the State Government to dispose of 10,92,616 applications pertaining to regularisation of 26,55,277 acres of land pending since 1999. — Staff Correspondent
