It will create awareness about HIV

The Red Ribbon Express, which is touring the country to create awareness about HIV, and health-related issues and services, will enter Karnataka in April.

According to a release from South Western Railway, the 10-coach exhibition express has exhibits on HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, reproductive and child health services, general health and hygiene. The exhibition special will arrive at Belgaum station at 1.30 a.m. on April 2 and leave at 10 p.m. on April 4.

It will then go to Harihar (Mysore division), before arriving at Dharwad station at 3 a.m. on April 7. It will leave Dharwad on April 9 at 10 p.m.

It will reach Gadag station at 1 a.m. on April 10, and leave on April 11 at 9 p.m. It will then go to Bidar, Bangalore, Ashokpuram and Kolar, before travelling to other States.

The Red Ribbon Express began its journey from Delhi on January 12.
