TUMKUR: Thousands of devotees from across the State attended the annual “Rathotsav” of Sri Narasimha Swamy at the historic Seebi Kshetra near Tumkur on Monday. B. Suresh Gowda, MLA from Tumkur Rural, and a host of members of various panchayats and senior officials, led the people in the celebration. Religious fervour and gaiety marked the fest . Traffic on NH 4 was brought to a halt during the event. By tradition, every visitor to the occasion was served “prasadam” by the organisers. The Government had made elaborate arrangements for supply of drinking water.
