Rain in the afternoon slowed down traffic on key roads, particularly in and around K.H. Road on Thursday, thanks to flooded roads.

Traffic moved at a snail's pace in several areas of south Bangalore. A commuter, who was stuck on his two-wheeler for 40 minutes on the stretch from Urvashi cinema to K.H. Road, blamed potholes for slowing down vehicles.

The rain was restricted mainly to the southern areas of the city. The Department of Meteorology said 0.6 mm rainfall was recorded in the city, while 1 mm rainfall was recorded in HAL Airport area. For Friday, the department forecasts cloudy skies. Some parts of the city is likely to receive intermittent rain and thundershowers.
