The water level in major reservoirs in the district continued to rise on Wednesday as well owing to incessant rain in their catchment areas. The water level in Linganamakki reservoir that was at 1,802 feet on Tuesday rose to 1,804 feet on Wednesday. An inflow at the rate of 54,536 cusecs was recorded here. The water level in Bhadra reservoir was at 177 feet against the maximum level of 186 feet. An inflow at the rate of 27,678 cusecs was recorded here. Hulikal has received 178 mm rain, Mastikatte 174 mm, Agumbe 156 mm, Yadur 152 mm, and 120 mm rain was recorded in Mani.
