Judge of High Court of Karnataka H.N. Nagamohan Das will inaugurate a public hearing on April 28 organised by Samajika Parivarthana Janandolana (SPJ) in connection with the issues related to child rights violations at Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), said SPJ State convener M. Narayanaswamy said.

C.S. Dwarakanath, former chairperson of the Karnataka Commission for Backward Classes, will be the chief guest. Member of the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Vasudeva Sharma will participate as a special observer at the hearing.

The hearing will be held at Nehru Kalyanamantapa, Oorgaum in KGF town. Arlene Manohar of the Centre for Child and Law, nutrition specialist K.C. Raghu, human rights activist Manohar, and AIDWA district secretary V. Geetha will be the part of the jury that will hear the grievances related to children of KGF area.
