Gulbarga: The Karnataka Pranta Raitha Sangha (KPRS) activists led by district president of the KPRS, Megharaj Khatare, staged a dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Tuesday. They were demanding suspension of the police personnel who “misbehaved” with women workers of the unorganised sector who had staged a protest in Gulbarga on September 15.

The workers were demanding fixation of minimum wages.The KPRS activists also demanded release of the arrested persons. — Special Correspondent
