Members of the Karnataka State Government Employees Association staged a protest here demanding parity in pay scales with Union Government employees. On Wednesday, the employees walked from Ambedkar Circle to the Deputy Commissioner's office here and staged a dharna. They submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, in which they said there was a difference of 30 to 40 per cent in wages of Union and State Government employees. They noted that the revised pay scales did not include increases in city compensatory allowance and house rent allowance. — Staff Correspondent
