Youth Congress activists staged a protest against the “failures” of the State Government, here on Thursday.

They took out a procession in the city and assembled at Gopi Circle where they held a rasta roko. Corruption, maladministration and misuse of power had become rampant under the BJP rule, they alleged. They charged that some Ministers were involved in illegal mining and demanded that they be dropped. The protesters demanded the resignation of Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa.

Youth Congress president K. Ranganath was present.
