With fresh inputs suggesting that miscreants are trying to create a ruckus in the central business district, prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC, which were imposed here on March 3, has been extended till March 19.

The prohibitory order has been extended based on inputs from the State intelligence, a press release from the office of the City Police Commissioner said here on Thursday.

The order will be in force around the City Civil Court complex, which witnessed violence on March 2 during the appearance of the former Minister and mining baron G. Janardhan Reddy in the CBI court in connection with an illegal mining case.

According to the release, Section 144 of CrPC will be in force in the limits of Ashok Nagar, Ulsoor Gate, Silver Jubilee Park, Sampangi Ram Nagar, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, High Grounds, Chickpet, Uppar Pet and City Market police station limits.
