Bijapur: Students of Marathi and Urdu D.Ed colleges staged a dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Wednesday to protest against the “unscientific methods” of paper evaluation. The students, who staged the protest under the banner “State Human Rights Board”, took out a procession from Siddeshwar temple to the Deputy Commissioner’s office premises.

The students alleged that it was wrong to sent Marathi papers to Pune and Urdu papers to Hyderabad for evaluation.
