The State government will initiate the process of selecting the next Lokayukta before the presentation of the State Budget 2013-14, announced Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar.
Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday on the sidelines of a seminar organised by the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), he said the government would follow the guidelines recently issued by the Supreme Court regarding the appointment of the Lokayukta.
