BANGALORE: The Commissioner of Police Shankar M. Bidari on Wednesday ordered for dismissal of a police inspector and suspension of a police inspector and a sub-inspector, for alleged dereliction of duty.

Police Inspector H.T. Jayaramaiah was sacked on various charges, including unauthorised sale of a stolen vehicle.

Police Inspector S. Satyavati and assistant sub-inspector T. Saraswati have been placed under suspension for alleged negligence in a dowry harassment case.

As a police inspector at the Nandini Layout police station, Mr. Jayaramaiah allegedly sold an autorickshaw, recovered in a case of theft, with a registration number of a lorry.
