BANGALORE: The police have banned movement of vehicles on some stretches of M.G. Road, Brigade Road, Residency Road and Church Street between 8 p.m. on December 31 and 1 a.m. of January 1. Parking of vehicles will be banned between 4 p.m. of December 31 and 3 a.m. of January 1.

Vehicles, expect for those related to police and essential services, will not be allowed to move on M.G. Road between Anil Kumble Circle and Mayo Hall.

Vehicles will also be banned on Brigade Road between the Cauvery Emporium and the Opera cinema; on Church Street between the Brigade Road Junction and Madras Bank Road.

On Museum Road between the M.G. Road Junction and Madras Bank Road; on Rest House Road between the Museum Road Junction and Brigade Road Junction.

On Kamaraj Road between the Cubbon Road Junction and the Cauvery Emporium; and between Residency Cross Road and M.G. Road- Symphony (cinema) Junction.

Banned

The parking of vehicles will be banned on these stretches between 4 p.m. on December 31 and 3 a.m. of January 1.

Permitted

The police have permitted parking on both sides of Kamaraj Road between the Cubbon Road-Kamaraj Road Junction and Commercial Street-Kamaraj Road Junction. Parking will also be permitted on King’s Road at Cubbon Park and near the Shivajinagar Bus Stand area.
