GULBARGA: Karnataka Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Government and Semi-Government Daily Wage Employees Association on Wednesday urged Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa to regularise on humanitarian grounds the services of more than 17,000 daily wage employees who had been working for more than 20 years.

Prabhu Wali, general secretary, and other association office-bearers presented a memorandum in this regard to Mr. Yediyurappa at Iwan-e-Shahi Government Guest House here.
