Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said on Saturday that the people would punish the Congress for its padayatra to Bellary.

Speaking after laying foundation stones for several development works here, Mr. Yeddyurappa described the padayatra as “a dombarata” and said the people were watching the “tamasha”. Mr. Yeddyurappa admitted to the illegal mining in Tumkur and the Bellary districts. “I may lose my chair for this reason. But, I do not care,” he said.
