The Zoo Authority of Karnataka has urged the Mysore City Corporation to handover 2.3 acres of land opposite Mysore zoo to it for developing a multilevel parking complex. The land, given on lease to the ZAK for 50 years in 1980, is being used as a parking lot. “If the lease period is extended to at least 99 years, we can plan a multilevel parking complex with a subway to the zoo,” ZAK Chairman Maruthi Rao Pawar said here on Friday.
