A complaint has been filed against former Minister J. Krishna Palemar for allegedly stocking around 5,000 mobile phones for distributing it to party members for campaigning. The election control room has forwarded the complaint to sector magistrate and have sought a report

Among the other complaints received at the control room included one against Janata Dal (Secular) candidate Nandaraj Sankesh accusing him of using a vehicle for campaigning that had not been approved in Sullia. Sector magistrate has filed a police complaint and the vehicle was seized.

There were complaints about display of banners related to elections being displayed in Haleyangadi Gram Panchayat Junction and in Vamanjoor Junction. While the banners at the Haleyangadi Gram Panchayat junction were removed, a report was awaited on the action with regard to Vamanjoor Junction.

A complaint has been registered against Congress party of assuring voters of providing houses under a Central Scheme in Mulky.

The Janata Dal (Secular) has been accused of sending an audio message for a mobile phone seeking vote for the party.
