MYSORE: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) will conduct an “open house” session for the benefit of students who have cleared CET and are seeking admission to engineering courses.

NIE principal M.S. Shivakumar said that the two-day session would be held on May 28 and 29 and that it would benefit students and their parents who were curious to know more about the different facilities and streams in engineering.

Guided tour

Students and parents will be taken on a guided tour of the campus, said Prof. Shivakumar.

He said that NIE had been ranked 59 among India's top 75 engineering colleges.All the facilities of NIE would be kept open for visitors during the “open house” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,said Prof. Shivakumar.
