Seeking to attract more people, the Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Mysore, a regional centre of the National Museum of Natural History (Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India) recently created a Facebook page.
“Recently, the Centre granted permission to government organisations to create a Facebook page in order to promote the organisation,” said John Thomas of the RMNH. The page, created around two months ago, provides information about the museum, contact information and also photographs of recent events and exhibitions that took place on its premises. There is also a link to the RMNH website.
