Whether you are building a small house or managing a large infrastructure project, it involves critical timelines and coordination with numerous agencies. Lack of communication, accountability and visibility is the prime cause for increased cost and delay in completion of the projects.

To address these issues, Buildingsteps, a social business network, has started base in India. “This network will help architects, engineers, contractors, developers and owners to effectively communicate, collaborate and manage projects,” said Vinod Jain, chief executive officer.

Addressing presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Jain said the web-based platform allows companies to create their own collaborative social networks that connect internally with employees and externally with business partners.

“It is easy to use as it does not require any installation. Users can instantaneously create their own business social networks and use as their company portal or link to the network from their existing website. All they have to do is log on into BuildingSteps.com and follow the instructions,” he added.
