BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court adjourned to May 26 a criminal petition by godman Nithyananda seeking his release on bail.

Nithyananda and one of his disciples Nithya Bhaktananda were arrested by the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The CID was after Nithyananda and Bhaktananda after a complaint by Lenin, a former car driver of Nithyananda. When a Ramanagaram court rejected their bail plea, Nithyananada and Bhaktananda moved the High Court. Justice Subash B. Adi adjourned the case.
