Activists, allegedly of the Sri Rama Sene, ransacked the office of newspaper Karavali Marutha on Saturday evening, Mangalore North police said. One of the attackers was injured while breaking a glass panel. He has been admitted to a private clinic.

Sudesh, editor of the newspaper, said in the complaint lodged with the police that six people ransacked the office which is located on K.S. Rao Road near Yenepoya Hospital at around 12.45 p.m. Police said the outfit attacked the newspaper because it had published a report stating that people were leaving the Sri Rama Sene as it was not doing good work.
