BANGALORE: Air India will introduce a hub and spoke flight between Bangalore and Mumbai from October 26 to enable international travellers from Bangalore to get connecting flights to New York, Newark, London, Frankfurt and Chicago from Mumbai. The new flight AI 623 operated with Airbus A321 aircraft will leave Bangalore at 8 p.m. and reach Mumbai International Airport at 9.30 p.m. daily enabling passengers to get connecting flights to various destinations. This facility is more beneficial to passengers bound for New York from Bangalore, according to a press release from Air India. Air India has made arrangements for through check of passen-gers’ baggage and issuing boarding cards up to New York in Bangalore itself. Passengers will complete Customs and Immigration formalities in Bangalore.
