KOLAR: Literary critic and lecturer at Bangalore University’s PG Centre here K.V. Srinivasamurthy has stressed the need for unity among Kannadigas to get their due share in public sector undertakings as well as in multinational companies that have come to the State following globalisation. He was speaking at a Kannada awareness programme for college students organised by the Kannada Development Authority (KDA) at the Government College for Women here on Saturday. It was high time that Kannadigas asserted themselves in order to establish their identity like the people of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, Mr. Srinivasamurthy said.
