GULBARGA: BJP legislator Chandrasekhar Patil Revoor inaugurated the Combined Annual Training Camp of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Gulbarga on Thursday.

More than 600 NCC cadets from the junior and senior wings will participate in the camp being held on the outskirts of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Revoor stressed the need for students to develop high values and principles, “Besides being a good human being, one should also be patriotic towards his country,” he added.

The NCC provided an opportunity for students to mould themselves and become good citizens of the country, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Camp Commandant Colonel D.R. Sharma said the main aim of holding the camp was to inculcate discipline among the cadets and to train them for the A, B and C certificate examinations in NCC and Social activities.Different competitions such as foot march drill, physical training, will be held during the camp.
