INHS Patanjali, the naval hospital in Karwar, conducted the second free-medical camp for the benefit of families that were displaced by the setting up of the naval base and the general public on Thursday at Janta Vidyalaya, Rehabilitation Centre, Mudga from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first similar free-medical camp was conducted by the Navy on November 29 at Harwada.

Medical officers from the Naval Base, Karwar, were available for free consultation, examination and treatment. Free medicines were provided to sick personnel. General-health examination, gynaecological and oral / dental examination facilities were availed by local people .
