Madikeri: Former Minister M.C. Nanaiah on Tuesday described the reported initiatives being made by the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal (S) to explore the possibility of forming a government if the coalition break ups as an indication of things to come. Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, he said: "Let the experimentation go on." There was nothing new about "secret parleys" between former Prime Ministers H.D. Deve Gowda and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Talks of forging a coalition between the BJP and the Janata Dal (S) have been going on for some time, he added.

Mr. Nanaiah criticised BJP floor leader in the Legislative Assembly B.S. Yediyurappa for "sacrificing the interests" of his party in a bid to forge an alliance with the Janata Dal (S).

Mr. Nanaiah said he will keep away from the Congress, the BJP and the Janata Dal (S) and watch developments.
