Bangalore-based rock band Prodigal Return is hosting Raprophet for their brother band Transitpoint.

This marks the launch of their Extended Play on April 29, which is a trailer to their forthcoming album. The performance is to be held at Alliance Francaise between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the entry fee is Rs. 49.

Prodigal Return's music is a blend of classic rock, symphonic metal, power metal and alternative rock while Transitpoint comprises metal and rap with liberal doses of reggae and melody.

The band says it aims at making music that transcends social barriers. Having played 13 gigs in 10 months, the band has now grown to produce an event on its own and looks at promoting bands and rebuilding the city's positive music scene.
